FAQ
Clear answers before you start.
The important details about credits, bounties, reviews, distribution, and account control.
What are Growth Credits?
Growth Credits are internal units used to reserve bounty rewards and purchase product boosts. They are not money and cannot be withdrawn or transferred.
How do I earn credits?
Complete an open bounty thoughtfully. When the creator approves your submission, the reserved reward is added to your balance.
What happens after I start a bounty?
Your place is reserved for 45 minutes. Visit the product and submit every answer before the timer expires. If it expires, you can start again later when capacity is available.
Why can a creator reject feedback?
A creator may reject a response that does not complete the published task, lacks sufficient effort, or violates the rules. A rejection requires a reason and remains in the review history.
Can I publish feedback as a testimonial?
Not automatically. Feedback can be used internally to improve a product. Obtain separate permission before publishing a participant's name or words as marketing.
What does supporting a product do?
Support is a community signal that helps founders see which products are resonating. It is not an investment, purchase, endorsement, or guarantee.
What does a product boost guarantee?
A boost buys the stated placement and impression goal inside BuildTraction. It does not guarantee clicks, signups, customers, revenue, or search ranking.
Can I report a product or user?
Yes. Use the contact page, choose the abuse-report option, and include the relevant page URL and context.
How do I export, correct, or delete my data?
Signed-in users can create a reviewed request from account settings. Privacy requests can also be submitted through the contact page.
