Terms of service

BuildTraction is operated by BuildTraction, based in India. In these terms, “BuildTraction,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to that operator.

By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms and our Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement to use BuildTraction.

• Provide accurate account information and keep your sign-in method secure.
• Use one account unless we approve another arrangement.
• You are responsible for activity performed through your account.
• Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

You may create product listings and choose whether they are publicly listed. You remain responsible for your product, its claims, external website, and compliance with applicable law.

You keep ownership of your content. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, format, reproduce, and display the content only as needed to operate, secure, and promote BuildTraction and your public listing. You can remove a listing subject to records we must retain for integrity, fraud prevention, or legal obligations.

• Creators must describe the requested work, reward, estimated effort, audience, and review questions accurately.
• Reward credits are reserved when a bounty is launched.
• A participant who starts a bounty receives a temporary place for 45 minutes.
• If the participant does not submit before the timer expires, the reservation expires and the place becomes available again.
• Creators may pause or cancel bounties according to the controls provided by the service.

Participants must make a genuine effort, visit the relevant product when required, answer the stated questions, and submit original feedback. Creators must review submissions in good faith against the published task.

A creator may approve a submission and release its reserved reward, or reject it with a reason. Approval does not transfer ownership of the participant’s words. The participant grants the creator a non-exclusive right to use the feedback internally to evaluate and improve the product. A creator must obtain separate permission before publishing attributable feedback as a testimonial or marketing claim.

Do not submit trade secrets, passwords, private customer data, health information, financial information, or anything covered by a confidentiality obligation.

Growth Credits are internal units used for BuildTraction features. They are not money, stored value, cryptocurrency, or a financial instrument. They cannot be transferred, withdrawn, sold, or redeemed for cash.

Credits may be granted, earned, purchased, reserved, released, refunded, or spent according to the feature being used. We may correct balances affected by bugs, abuse, duplicate transactions, chargebacks, refunds, or administrative error.

When credit purchases are available, the price and number of credits are shown before checkout. Payments are processed by Dodo Payments. Purchases are one-time unless checkout clearly says otherwise. Contact us if you believe a payment or credit delivery is incorrect. Approved full refunds may reverse unused purchased credits; if those credits have already been spent, we may review the account and related balance before completing the adjustment. Mandatory consumer refund rights remain unaffected.

Supporting a product is a community signal. A boost purchases additional placement within BuildTraction for the stated impression goal. Neither support nor a boost guarantees traffic, signups, customers, revenue, search ranking, or business results.

You may not coordinate artificial support, impressions, clicks, or other activity intended to manipulate discovery.

You must follow our Community Guidelines. We may remove content, pause bounties, restrict features, suspend accounts, or preserve evidence when reasonably necessary to protect users, enforce these terms, investigate abuse, or comply with law.

Use the report form if you believe content or behavior violates these rules.

BuildTraction links to products and websites operated by other people. We do not control or endorse those services and are not responsible for their availability, content, security, privacy practices, or transactions. Review their terms before using them.

Dodo Payments provides hosted checkout, payment processing, tax handling, receipts, and related transaction services for credit purchases. Its own terms and privacy notice also apply during checkout.

We provide the service on an “as available” basis. We do not promise uninterrupted operation, permanent availability of content, a particular volume or quality of feedback, or any commercial outcome. Nothing on BuildTraction is legal, financial, tax, employment, or investment advice.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BuildTraction and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from the service, third-party products, user content, or interactions between users. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

You may stop using the service at any time and request deletion from account settings. We may retain limited records when necessary for credit-ledger integrity, fraud prevention, dispute handling, security, or legal obligations. We may suspend or terminate accounts that materially or repeatedly violate these terms.

We may update these terms as the service changes. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice when a change materially affects user rights. These terms are governed by the laws applicable in India, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
